OBILIX® is a medication used to treat certain types of cancer. It is specifically indicated for:
Maintenance Treatment for Recurrent Ovarian Cancer: For adult patients with recurrent epithelial ovarian, fallopian tube, or primary peritoneal cancer who have responded to platinum-based chemotherapy.
Germline BRCA-Mutated HER2-Negative Metastatic Breast Cancer: For patients with harmful or suspected harmful germline BRCA mutations and HER2-negative metastatic breast cancer who have received prior chemotherapy. If you have hormone receptor-positive breast cancer, you should have received prior endocrine therapy or be considered unsuitable for it.
Route: Taken by mouth (oral administration).
Recommended Dosing schedule, the actual may be customised basis your requirement by your treating doctor The recommended dose is 300 mg (two 150 mg tablets) taken twice daily, making a total daily dose of 600 mg. Administration Tips:
- You can take the tablets with or without food.
- Swallow the tablets whole; do not chew, crush, dissolve, or divide them.
- If you miss a dose, take your next scheduled dose at the regular time.
