Krabeva is a medication that helps treat cancer by blocking a protein called vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF). This protein is important for forming new blood vessels that supply nutrients to tumors. By stopping VEGF, Krabeva can help in slow down tumor growth and prevent the spread of cancer.
Krabeva is commonly used for various types of cancer, including:
- Metastatic Colorectal Cancer
- Non-Squamous Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer (NSCLC)
- Advanced Renal Cell Carcinoma (kidney cancer)
- Glioblastoma (a type of brain cancer)
- Epithelial Ovarian, Fallopian Tube, or Primary Peritoneal Cancer
- Cervical Cancer (when used with other chemotherapy medications)
Form: Krabeva is administered through an IV (intravenous infusion).
