What is FASNORM?

FASNORM is a medication that blocks estrogen receptors. It is used to treat hormone receptor-positive metastatic breast cancer in postmenopausal women who have had disease progression after receiving anti-estrogen therapy.

How is FASNORM Given?

Form: Administered as an intramuscular injection.

Recommended Dosing schedule, the actual may be customised basis your requirement by your treating doctor
- 500 mg injected into the buttocks.
- Given as two injections (one in each buttock) on the following schedule:
- Days 1, 15, and 29: Administer both injections.
- Once monthly thereafter: Continue to administer both injections.

Administration Technique:

- Inject slowly over 1-2 minutes for each injection.
